I attended one of In Light For Life’s seminars to get some information on one alternative therapy for my mother, who suffers from neuropathy in both arms due to swelling caused by autoimmune disease. I had no intention of trying the treatment myself because I am relatively healthy and, more importantly. am naturally skeptical of “alternative treatments”. When I walked in, I think it was assumed that I wanted to try the lights and, before I could respond, I was asked if I had any localized discomfort anywhere on my body. I have been battling plantar fasciitis for the last 5 years and have recently suffered yet another flare up. I admitted that problem, with the disclaimer that I had only come for info that I would be passing along to mom, thinking that they wouldn’t have any treatment for my ailment anyway. Much to my surprise, they did have a boot they put on people with my issue. At this point, it was difficult to say no. So, I tried it thinking that it probably wouldn’t work, but that there wouldn’t be any harm in it.
I could not have been more wrong about the efficacy of the treatment. As I sat back and realized the lights pulsing across my face were kind of relaxing; I thought that I could sit through this and, if nothing else, I would feel more at ease in the end. Much to my surprise, my foot is where I felt it most. I realized this when I stood up that there was no more pain along the bottom of my foot. I immediately went to a wall to stretch it and see if it was, in fact, more limber. It had loosened up considerably. I sit here two days later and the symptoms are still at that same minimal level they were when I stood up from that initial treatment. I don’t understand the mechanism behind it, but I can tell you that it works and recommend it without reservation.
I just had my first facial from Edna and everything I've heard is true - she is a miracle worker! My face looks and feels great, plus the experience was really relaxing. I can't wait to go for another treatment!
