This review is for the Post Shop, not the store. I wish there was a separation because the store is lovely and always very well stocked and kept, my interaction with the store staff is limited but has always been good.
According to the United States Code, Section 1708, taking mail or concealing mail that is not intended for the individual in possession of the mail is considered theft and is punishable by law. An amendment to Section 1708 that was made in 1952 made any theft of mail, regardless of the monetary value of the property, a third degree felony. Third degree felonies are punishable by fine, up to five years imprisonment, or both.
Nice stock of cards and post office had always been a convenience, but grumpy people. I was told not to touch a card rack, so, I let it go. It fell on the floor and everything went flying. Oh, I see, said the clerk, you were trying to help. Always full of people, though.

One of my favorite daily stops. I enjoy the constantly changing landscape of items and displays. To be recognized and engaged by every employee is wonderful.

I LOVE the ladies here. So friendly and fun.
The Post Shop is terrible. I have never had a good experience there. On every occasion that I've had to mail packages there I have been met with the worst customer service. I ship a lot, and generally drive out of my way to avoid the ladies who work here, however this is the closest USPS location to me and I should not have to. They do not have shipping supplies available without waiting in line. Then once you wait in line and beg them for the proper supplies (that are free and necessary to the service that you pay for) they make you leave the line and go pack up somewhere else and get back in line to ship. On more than one occasion I've had to argue with them to get the supplies I need. I've stood there with 3 packages in hand and been told they can only give me 2 mailers because they are running low, not that they are out, that they are running low and don't want to give me what I need. They are curt and rude and never offer smiles, hellos or thank you's. If ever there were a stereotype for a postal worker, these women are it. I don't know how they have been there for ages, but they have, so I don't foresee things changing anytime soon.
